Our Music Ministry

Our Services
The worship of God is a simple, yet multifaceted, privilege that we enjoy. We gather to worship our triune God through song, prayer, preaching of the Word, and the sharing of the Lord’s Supper. We worship together as one body on Sunday mornings, doing so through the offerings of varying musical styles and genres, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16), and meeting with God through a living balance of formality and frankness before Him.

The Worship Ensemble
We have been blessed by the extraordinary musical talents of many who worship with us. Our worship team is a committed group of musicians from all walks of life, playing and singing under the leadership of our Worship Leader. No one serves on our worship team with the hopes of being a recording star, yet each member is dedicated to offering their finest gifts unto the Lord. While worshipping with us, you will hear organ, piano, guitar, bass guitar, drum set, d’jembe and congas, keyboard synthesizer, and well-harmonized vocalizations.

Beauty So Ancient, Yet So New
Many recordings that are released by churches and other groups are more "solo"-geared projects than actual resources that could enable the further development of the congregant (as well as the ensemble that tries to pattern what they are doing according to a recording they heard). In taking on a project such as this, we attempted to provide a recording of songs that have theological depth, musical intelligibility, as well as congregational "singability." Through hymns both ancient and contemporary, we attempted to strike a balance of songs that churches with all levels of musicians can adapt for their own use, without having to give up musical integrity and poetic craftsmanship that has lasted throughout the ages
